Finals week

Taking finals during my third semester of veterinary school was should have been a priority. But seriously? Who can focus when you wake up the morning after PUPPY DAY! to the wrinkliest ball of cute that the world has ever seen. (Evidence below.)

Now that Henry was home, it was time to focus on school, finals, and getting to Christmas.

Henry slept seven full hours his first night home. Seven. I felt so lucky to have such a good sleeper on my hands! As a matter of fact, he spent a good portion of finals week sleeping. I studied until he woke, then we'd snuggle... Sleep then snuggle. Snuggle then sleep. It was easily the easiest exam week I've ever--- on me. Henry got very bored, very quickly...

It was the Monday of finals week, and Chris, a friend, and I were studying at the kitchen table--- Henry's bed was 9' away, in the living room. Nine... whole... feet. Mr. Momma's Boy had a couple of options...

Abandon the bed completely and be close to Momma and friends...

Lay between the bed and the table, split the difference!

And the last option, the one my little brainiac devised all on his lonesome....

Drag the bed to the table and stare at Mom
We survived finals week relatively unscathed--- although I can't say the same for my GPA or the bathroom door #timeforacrate

After our last final we had three weeks to snuggle, bond, train and travel. It was time for my big boy to go meet his family!
